PROGRESS: Of course I will release bugfix patches as bugs are found. Other than that, I have plenty of ideas (and a list) for features that I want to implement in the future.
It is a difficulty hack of Pokémon Emerald with only fully unevolved Pokémon - both in the wild and on trainers' teams. Along with those changes, I've also added quite a few quality of life upgrades and two difficulty modes. This game was made with the goal of being a fun and challenging romhack to Nuzlocke, but I hope you enjoy it any way you decide to play.
🛑Features:
➡️Starters: Snivy, Scorbunny, Squirtle.
➡️Hard level caps.
➡️Gen 9 battle mechanics (unless otherwise stated).
➡️Two difficulty modes.
➡️EV Gain toggle (on/off).
➡️Mini-Bosses with rewards like BP, battle items, and move tutor access.
➡️BP Shop: Buy Ability Patches, Nature Mints, Bottle Caps, and battle items.
➡️Held items lost in battle are gone permanently if you win.
➡️You can permanently take held items from opponent trainers if you win.
➡️Trainers don't use items.
➡️Attract works regardless of gender.
➡️Confuse berries heal ½ max HP and trigger at ¼ max HP (Gen 7 mechanics).
➡️Separate encounter locations for key areas.
➡️Two new custom maps: Deep Woods, Desert Oasis.
➡️New "Mega Evolutions" for Baby Pokémon via held items.
➡️Some type and ability changes for unevolved Pokémon.
➡️Follower Pokémon.
➡️Most bosses have overworld partner Pokémon.
➡️Minor story changes with added and moved boss fights.
➡️Some boss fights scale in level depending on progress.
➡️New Key Items: Infinite Candy, Cap Candy, Max Restore, Infinite Repel, Pokévial, Warp Panel, Flashlight.
➡️Utilities menu with features like Pokémon Box Link, Auto Run Toggle, Time Change, Escape Rope, and Egg Hatching.
➡️Shortcut controls: Press 'R' to run, 'A' to relearn moves, see IVs, rename Pokémon, and toggle features.
➡️Trainer Card displays Romhack Version, Difficulty, EV gain, and Battle Points.
➡️HMs usable from the bag after gym completion.
➡️No field move text boxes or Pokémon pop-ups.
➡️Dive and Emerge shortcuts with 'B' and 'A'.
➡️Faster Surfing and Diving with 'B'.
➡️New bag pockets for Incenses and Nature Mints.
➡️New NPCs in Pokémon Centers: Nature Mint Maker, Pre-Damage & Pre-Status NPC, Hyper Training NPC, Battle Points Trader, Egg Move Tutor.
➡️And then of course there are also some changes that don't have to do with new features such as the continual balancing of learnsets, trainer levels, and boss teams.
