PROGRESS: Project Version 1.0 (Completed) - 21/01/2026 - This is a complete game. The full Pokémon Emerald story, featuring a roster of Pokémon from Generations 1 to 8 and a challenging Elite Four, is finished and playable from start to finish.

It is a complete, hardcore difficulty hack designed for players who loved the brutal challenge of games like Emerald Kaizo. This game keeps the classic Hoenn story and map intact but massively ramps up the difficulty with champion-level AI and Gym Leaders who wield teams of six powerful Pokémon, including Legendaries and Mega Evolutions. To help you survive, you start with a powerful Dragon-type Pokémon and are given infinite Master Balls and healing items for use outside of battle. With a massive roster of Pokémon from Generations 1-8 and a strict ban on setup moves and in-battle items for the player, this is the ultimate test of pure strategic skill.

➡️Kaizo-Style Hardcore Difficulty: The game is designed to be an extremely challenging hack, inspired by games like Emerald Kaizo, with champion-level AI.

➡️Player-Side Restrictions (No Items/Setup/Weather): You are banned from using any items (except held items) during battle, and you cannot use stat-boosting setup moves (like Calm Mind) or weather-setting moves (like Rain Dance).

➡️Enemy-Exclusive Mega Evolution: As part of the difficulty, Gym Leaders and some trainers will use Mega Evolved Pokémon, but this feature is not available to the player.

➡️Start with a Dragon-Type: You begin the game with a choice of three powerful Dragon-type Pokémon that evolve at levels 30 and 50.

➡️Infinite Master Balls & Healing Items: You have access to infinite Master Balls, Full Restores, Max Revives, and Max Elixirs from the Oldale Town PokéMart.

➡️No Level Caps: There are no level caps in the game, allowing you to over-level your Pokémon as a valid strategy to overcome difficult battles.

➡️Massive Pokédex (Gen 1-8): The game features a huge roster of Pokémon from the first eight generations (approximately 95% of them are available).

➡️Challenging Gyms with Legendaries: All Gym Leaders have a full team of six Pokémon, and their rosters can include powerful Legendary Pokémon.

➡️Legendaries Before the Elite Four: You can find and capture most Legendary Pokémon at Level 30 in Victory Road to help prepare for the final challenge.

➡️Cheap Rare Candies: You can purchase cheap Rare Candies before the Elite Four to quickly prepare your team.

➡️EV System Removed: Vitamins like Protein and Carbos will not work, and the EV system is not a factor in gameplay.
