PROGRESS: Project Version: Completed - 08/01/2026 - This is a complete game. The full story, which follows Blue or Leaf on their journey across the Johto region to find Red, is finished and playable from start to finish.

It is a unique fan game and a direct sequel to the classic Johto story, where you play as Blue (or Leaf) on a mission to find Red after your defeat to Gold/Crystal. This journey across the Johto region is filled with unique mechanics and rules: you'll discover maps to give to "Captains" who will take you to special Event Islands, and you can even sneak past the Safari Zone counter to battle wild Pokémon normally. With a full suite of modern quality-of-life features and a strict rule that scripted encounters must be caught, this is a fresh and engaging new way to experience the world of Johto.

➡️Event Islands System: Discover maps throughout your journey that you can give to special "Captains," who will then take you to unique Event Islands.

➡️Safari Zone Sneak Mechanic: A unique feature that allows you to sneak past the Safari Zone counter through the bushes, letting you engage in normal battles with the Safari Pokémon instead of using the traditional Safari mechanics.

➡️Mandatory Scripted Catches: The game enforces a strict rule where any Pokémon encountered in a scripted event that includes dialogue must be caught.

➡️Modern Battle Mechanics: The game has been updated with the modern Physical/Special Split for moves.

➡️Reusable TMs & Forgettable HMs: All TMs have infinite uses, and HMs can be freely forgotten without the need for a Move Deleter.

➡️No More Trade Evolutions: All evolution methods that previously required trading have been replaced with new methods, such as using a stone, leveling up, or high friendship.

➡️All TMs Available Early: You can purchase every TM in the game right from the start in New Bark Town, allowing for immediate and deep team customization.

➡️Johto Region Focus: The primary setting for the adventure is the Johto region.
