PROGRESS: Project Version 0.15 (Beta Demo) - 15/12/2025 - The game is currently an early beta demo. The story is not complete, and the creator is still looking for help with development, such as spriters and composers.

It is a binary difficulty ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed that transforms the Kanto region into a bizarre and magical new world. The story is a direct sequel to FireRed/LeafGreen, where two magical protagonists, Aster and Star, arrive in Kanto just as mysterious "stellar meteors" crash into the region, altering the environment and creating new locations. This game is a love letter to the creator's favorite media, with a roster of 328 custom Pokémon (Fakemon) inspired by series like Puyo Puyo, various "object shows," and most notably, the magical girl anime Star Twinkle Pretty Cure. With a hugely increased shiny rate (1/250), tougher boss battles, a higher level curve, and a brand new evil team, Team Void, this is a challenging and deeply personal take on the classic Kanto journey.

🛑Features:

➡️328 Original Fakemon: The game's core feature. The Pokédex has been completely replaced with 328 brand new, custom-made Pokémon (Fakemon), plus a selection of buffed, underused official Pokémon.

➡️Based on a Mashup of Fandoms: Many of the new Fakemon designs are inspired by the creator's favorite media, including Puyo Puyo, various "object shows," and a heavy thematic and story influence from the magical girl anime Star Twinkle Pretty Cure.

➡️A Sequel to FireRed/LeafGreen: The story is set years after the events of the original Kanto games and follows two new magical protagonists, Aster and Star.

➡️A Transformed Kanto Region: A mysterious meteor shower has crashed into Kanto, altering the environment and creating a mix of familiar and brand-new locations and routes to explore.

➡️Dramatically Increased Shiny Rate (1/250): The shiny encounter rate has been massively boosted to a 1 in 250 chance, making shiny Pokémon a common and exciting part of the adventure.

➡️A Difficulty-Focused Hack: The game is designed to be a more competitive and strategic challenge. It features a higher level curve that encourages grinding (the creator suggests using the Lucky Egg) and more difficult battles.

➡️Enhanced Bosses & Rematches: All major boss battles, including Gym Leaders, the evil team, the Elite Four, and special trainers, have been made "much, much harder" and feature challenging rematches.

➡️New Evil Team: Face off against a new antagonistic organization known as Team Void, who have replaced Team Rocket.

➡️New Custom Gym Leaders: The Gym Leaders in this version of Kanto are all new characters based on the creator's friends from the "Object Show Community."

➡️New Moves: The game includes a few new, custom-made moves to complement the new roster of Fakemon.

➡️Retro Aesthetic & Custom Sprites: The hack aims for a "retro aesthetic" and features a unique mix of custom spritework inspired by both Generation 3 and Generation 4 styles.

➡️Dynamic Overworld Palettes: The game features a patch that allows for dynamic and changing color palettes in the overworld.
