PROGRESS: Project Version 1.1 (Completed) - 17/01/2026 - This is a complete game. The full Kanto story, featuring the solo Pokémon challenge, is finished and playable from start to finish.

It is a unique fan game that completely reimagines the classic Pokémon Blue experience as a series of unpredictable solo challenges. Trapped in a strange, endless cycle, you embark on a new Kanto journey each time, but with one critical twist: you receive a single, random Pokémon as your sole partner for the entire game. All other Pokémon catching and gift mechanics are disabled. The game features a curated list of 151 original Pokémon plus a secret one, with most evolutions disabled (except for a few early-game Bugs and Magikarp). Packed with quality-of-life improvements like increased speed and automatic item sorting, plus new items like the PokéFilter (to stop wild encounters) and Peace Treaty (to avoid trainer battles), this is the ultimate test of adaptability and strategy for solo players.

🛑Features:

➡️Single Random Pokémon Playthrough: The game's core feature. Each new game provides you with a single, random Pokémon (from the 151 original + 1 secret) as your sole partner for the entire Kanto journey.

➡️Catching & Gift Pokémon Disabled: All additional Poké Balls, catching mechanics, and gift Pokémon are removed, enforcing a strict solo challenge.

➡️Evolution Mostly Disabled: Evolutions are disabled for all Pokémon except Magikarp, Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, and Kakuna.

➡️New Unique Items: Introduces several original key items: PokéFilter (toggles wild encounters), Peace Treaty (avoids ordinary trainer battles), Portable Healing Machine (heals Pokémon instantly, except against E4), LED Sparkler (replaces Flash HM), Lawnmower (replaces Cut HM), Bill's Plane (replaces Fly HM/Old Amber), Bill's Ship (replaces Surf HM), and Macho Glove (replaces Strength HM).

➡️Increased Speed & QoL: Features significantly increased reading speed (text appears instantly) and movement speed (walking, cycling, surfing with 'B' button).

➡️Automatic Item Sorting: Automatically sorts items in your backpack by pressing the "Start" button.

➡️Welcome Kit & Grind Reduction: Receive a bundle of Rare Candies and new items at the start. TM36 (Self-Destruct) is replaced by "Struggle" (which also affects Ghost types) and is available early.

➡️TMs as Casino Prizes: All casino prizes are now TMs and cost 150 coins.

➡️Secret Pokémon: Includes one additional, secret Pokémon beyond the original 151.

➡️Expanded Backpack Storage: Inventory space for items is increased from 20 to 50 slots.

➡️No MissingNo. or Glitched Pokémon: Bug fixes ensure MissingNo. and Charizard 'M no longer appear as random options or catchable Pokémon (Rhydon appears instead).

➡️Blaine's Original Design: Blaine's sprite has been reverted to his original design (a nod to the anime and original Red/Green concept).

➡️Complete Game: The full Pokémon Blue story, including defeating the Gym Leaders and Elite Four, is playable from start to finish.

➡️Modified Victory Road: Victory Road has been modified so it's possible to traverse to the end without needing HM04 (Strength).

➡️Removed Elemental Stones (mostly): All elemental stones have been removed, except for the Moon Stone (which has no use).

➡️Reprogrammed Poké Balls: All but two types of Poké Balls (Poké Ball and Safari Ball) have been removed, and the remaining ones are reprogrammed to fail if accessed through cheats.

➡️Unique NPC Interactions: Includes various NPC interactions and quests related to the new items and mechanics.

➡️Curse Anomaly Story: The main story is framed around an anomaly, a curse, or a glitch in reality that traps the protagonist in an endless cycle, forcing solo play.
