PROGRESS: Project Beta Version (11/04/2026) - There's 8 gyms, but 6 dojos around for the other types that the gyms and elite four didn't cover.

Welcome to the Essen region, a large two-part region filled with over 375 Pokémon and new challenges. Battle through 8 Gyms and 6 Dojos while thwarting the plans of the nefarious Team Nebula in a journey that begins in the sleepy town of Larton. Built in RPGMaker XP, this game features classic Gen 3 style graphics paired with modern Gen 8 mechanics and a curated Pokédex including Pokémon up to Gen 7.

➡️8 Gyms, 6 Dojos, and 4 Elite Four battles: gives you a challenge for every type throughout the region.

➡️HM items: remove the need for HM moves on Pokemon as you progress through the game.

➡️Large map: contains 19 towns/cities and 19 routes to explore.

➡️Tons of regional variants: Each starter in the game (Gens 1-4) has a new Essen variant, along with others like Girafarig, Swablu/Altaria, Deino/Zweilous/Hydreigon, Starmie, Riolu/Lucario, and many more with updated stats and abilities.

➡️Gen 8 mechanics: includes the Fairy type, Physical/Special split, and moves and abilities up to that generation (including a few homemade ones).

➡️Detailed Pokedex UI: tells you tons of information including how to evolve the new regional variants.
