PROGRESS: Project Version 1.0 (10/09/2026) — Complete & Fully Documented, featuring 742 standard Trainer rosters, 12 Pokémon Center PKTraders, full Kanto and Sevii Island encounter tables, and integrated Gen 1–9 mechanics.

NEW KANTO II is not a simple FireRed difficulty hack. It uses Kanto as a familiar starting point, then gradually turns that world into something much stranger. Players should expect a story-driven, exploration-heavy Kanto where old locations no longer always behave the way veterans remember them. Gym progression has changed, familiar characters may have different roles, old routes can hide entirely new events, and some places that once seemed unimportant can become major parts of the adventure.

🛑Features:

➡️A Heavily Altered Kanto Storyline: The journey begins normally enough, but strange Pokémon appearances, spatial disturbances, Rifts, displaced people, MissingNo., Hoopa, RED, Arceus, Giratina, and other mysteries gradually become part of a much larger conflict.

➡️A Different Gym Journey: Do not rely completely on your memory of FireRed. Some Gym Leaders, requirements, locations, and progression conditions have changed. Certain Gyms may be unavailable until another part of the story is completed.

➡️Pokémon From Many Generations: NEW KANTO II includes far more than the original Kanto Pokédex. Newer-generation Pokémon appear throughout the adventure, including special encounters, gifts, Trainer teams, traders, and unusual events.

➡️A Rival Who Develops Differently: After the earliest part of the journey, the rival begins building a completely different team using newer Pokémon. Their team continues evolving as you progress through Kanto.

➡️PKTraders Throughout Kanto: Several Pokémon Centers contain special traders on the second floor where players can obtain selected baby and first-stage Pokémon using Red Throphies. These traders are one of the ways newer Pokémon become naturally integrated into the adventure.

➡️Mission Boards: These provide optional missions, warnings, daily events, special encounters, and information about things happening around the region. Reading them is highly recommended because they often tell you about content you might otherwise walk past.

➡️Dynamax and Gigantamax Encounters: Dens and other Dynamax-related battles exist throughout the game. Some are daily or repeatable, while others are connected to special rewards, rare Pokémon, or larger objectives.

➡️The Safari Rider Championship: The Safari Zone contains a major optional battle challenge featuring many Rider Trainers with stronger teams, held items, custom movesets, and steadily increasing levels. It is designed for players who want a serious side challenge.

➡️Vaults and Hidden Terminals: Several locations contain optional locked systems, puzzles, trivia questions, and secret rewards. Players who carefully read the guide, inspect rooms, and remember clues can discover rewards that are easy to miss.

➡️Rare and Unusual Pokémon Events: Some Pokémon are encountered through scripted events rather than ordinary grass encounters. Strange variants, legendary Pokémon, Dynamax threats, and other unusual encounters are scattered across the world.

➡️Rifts and Alternate-World Phenomena: As the story develops, the game begins introducing people and Pokémon that do not seem to belong in the Kanto you know. Some may come from another place, another time, or another version of the world.

➡️The Mirror World: This is tied to the deepest mysteries of NEW KANTO II. Players who continue exploring beyond the normal story will discover systems involving altered encounters, unusual Pokémon possibilities, and the consequences of damaged timelines.

➡️A Large Late-Game Quest Involving Arceus Plates: The Plates are spread across Kanto and the Sevii Islands and are connected to powerful Pokémon, Rifts, legendary encounters, Dens, hidden areas, and major battles.

➡️A Much More Active Sevii Islands Storyline: The islands are not merely postgame leftovers. They become part of the wider crisis affecting Kanto, with disappearances, strange lights, Rifts, unusual Pokémon activity, and important characters.

➡️Genuinely Optional Content: Vaults, Rider battles, many Dynamax encounters, rare Pokémon hunts, daily missions, and numerous secrets can be explored without being forced into the Main Story.

➡️Significantly Boosted Shiny Odds: Base shiny odds are greatly increased compared to standard FireRed (approximately 1 in 262 before any additional bonuses from special items).

➡️Unique & Simplified Evolution Mechanics: Features custom evolution paths (such as Link Cables replacing trade evolutions, stones for newer species, and unique secret evolutions like Sandslash into Groudon or Wailord into Kyogre).
