PROGRESS: Completed v1.7 (08/16/2026) - An enhanced Vanilla+ Pokémon Black hack featuring overhauled trainer rosters, rebalanced mechanics, new moves, and a full Gen 1–5 Post-Game Pokédex.

An enhanced version of Pokémon Black that aims to keep the spirit of the original games intact while adding extra quality-of-life updates, balanced difficulty, revised evolutions, and expanded encounters—maintaining the original Unova-only Dex for the main campaign while making every Pokémon catchable in the post-game.

🛑Features:

➡️Diverse Wild Encounters: Wild Pokémon rosters are expanded with species added much earlier in the game (such as Minccino on Route 2, Ducklett on Route 3, and Zorua/Trubbish in the Dreamyard), along with rare 1% encounters like Axew and Larvesta. All remaining Pokémon from previous generations become catchable in the Post-Game.

➡️Updated Learnsets, Stats, and Abilities: Includes moves from later generations, BW2 move tutors, and choice Egg Moves (such as Earth Power Serperior, Shell Smash Samurott, and Blaze Kick Zebstrika). Select Pokémon receive base stat adjustments and canon Hidden Abilities.

➡️New & Rebalanced Moves: Adds moves from later generations like High Horsepower, Liquidation, Mystical Fire, Lumina Crash, Trailblaze, and Eerie Spell with custom animations. Rebalances various existing moves (such as Stone Edge, Flash Cannon, and changing Egg Bomb to a Grass/Special move).

➡️Trainer & Boss Overhauls: Gym Leaders and key bosses feature updated teams, held items, and new strategies. Healing items have been removed from Boss Trainers, and 17 extra battles have been added across the main campaign and post-game.

➡️Revised Evolution Methods: All trade evolutions have been removed and replaced with alternative methods (such as Seadra evolving into Kingdra via Dragon Pulse, or Dusclops via Reaper Cloth).

➡️HM Improvements: HMs are now completely unlearnable from Pokémon.

➡️Main Campaign Area Access: Challenger's Cave and the Dreamyard Basement are scaled down and opened during the main story, allowing early access to trainers, Life Orbs, and strong TMs.

➡️PokéBall Changer NPC: A new NPC in Nimbasa City lets you change the PokéBall your Pokémon was caught in, provided you have the required ball in your inventory.

➡️Berry Merchants: Berry Bundle Sellers located in various Pokémon Centers sell a wide array of berries, ranging from basic restoration berries to pinch, type-resist, and Natural Gift berries.

➡️Gem Exchange NPC: An NPC named Gemima in Nacrene City trades a set of 5 of each Elemental Gem in exchange for a single Dragon Scale.

➡️Adjusted Marts & Studio Rewards: Select PokéMarts now stock evolution stones, PP Ups, Air Balloons, and Focus Sashes. The Harlequin in Studio Castelia offers daily rewards such as Cherish Balls, Heart Scales, Dragon Scales, Rare Candies, or PP Ups.

➡️Expanded Post-Game & Mythical Events: Includes rematches against all Unova Gym Leaders, Iris, the Striaton Brothers, and superbosses Ingo & Emmet in Anville Town. All Unova Mythicals (Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect) are catchable, along with a Relic Castle side quest involving the God Stone to encounter other Legendary/Mythical Pokémon.
