It is a completed, long-standing RPG Maker XP fan game that casts you as an amnesiac traveler in the mysterious Egho region. Awakening in a dense forest with no memory of your past, you’ll join a local professor to explore a sprawling island chain, uncovering ancient secrets and unraveling the mystery of your own identity. Unlike traditional titles, Pokémon Infinity features a roster of over 100 original Fakemon alongside Pokémon from Generations 1 through 6, a deep, lore-rich narrative, and an internal clock system that powers a dynamic weather and day/night cycle. Designed to reward player curiosity rather than "hand-holding," this adventure offers approximately 30–40 hours of gameplay, including an expansive post-game and an optional randomizer mode for infinite replayability.
