PROGRESS: Project Version v1.0 (04/11/2026) - This project is a finished Fire Red overhaul that preserves original nostalgia while fully enhancing exploration and immersion with a map that has nearly doubled in size.
A complete ROM hack that preserves original nostalgia while enhancing exploration, immersion, and challenge. It transforms Kanto into a living world where the map has nearly doubled in size, featuring over 30 new quests and Pokémon living naturally in the overworld.
🛑Features:
➡️Generations 1 to 3: All Pokémon from the first three generations are obtainable within the game.
➡️Expanded World: Over 85 brand-new maps and redesigned areas, nearly doubling the size of the original Kanto map.
➡️Overworld Encounters: More than 500 Pokémon encounters visible directly in the overworld.
➡️Side Quests: Over 30 new side quests inspired by the anime to deepen the story and character lore.
➡️Guardian Pokémon: Discover over 85 guardian Pokémon located in caves and specific hidden areas.
➡️Increased Difficulty: A more challenging experience featuring lower catch rates, redesigned Gym Leader teams, and a tougher Pokémon League.
➡️Gym Leader Rematches: Rematch Gym Leaders in new locations with completely different and much stronger teams.
➡️New Battle Trainers: More than 150 new trainers spread across routes and caves to challenge the player.
➡️Competitive Moves: New moves have been added to various Pokémon to make them more competitive in battle.
➡️Level-Based Evolutions: Trade evolutions (at Lv. 55) and friendship evolutions have been replaced with level-based evolutions.
➡️Increased Shiny Rate: The encounter rate for shiny Pokémon has been increased to 1/256.
➡️Fast Travel System: A dedicated system for traveling quickly between different routes and cities.
➡️All Starters Available: Starters from Generations 1, 2, and 3 can be found in specific in-game locations.
➡️Special NPC Vendors: New vendors sell special items including all TMs, various Poké Balls, and battle items.
➡️Expanded Main Story: The original Fire Red journey is expanded with story-driven events and NPCs for better immersion.
➡️Emulator Compatibility: A GBA version that can be played on any GBA emulator for mobile phones, tablets, and other devices.
