PROGRESS: Project Version 2.0 (Completed) - 16/01/2026 - This is a complete game. The full FireRed story, featuring a complete National Dex of 386 original Fakemon and a post-game gym leader rematch area, is finished and playable from start to finish.

It is a complete and ambitious ROM hack that completely replaces the entire official Pokédex with 386 original, fan-made Pokémon (Fakemon). While the story largely follows the classic FireRed adventure, the Kanto region has been expanded with new areas to explore and secrets to find. The gameplay is modernized with the Physical/Special split, the Fairy type, and two brand new custom types: Cosmic and Digital. The game is packed with 25 custom Mega Evolutions, a full suite of quality-of-life features, and a new post-game area in the Sevii Canyons where you can rematch Gym Leaders. This is the ultimate Fakemon experience on the GBA.

➡️IV & EV Viewer/Editor: A letter-grade IV system is built into the summary screen, an NPC in Pewter City can tell you exact values, and a post-game area at the Indigo Plateau allows you to fully edit IVs and reset EVs.

➡️Extensive Quality of Life (QoL) Suite: Includes reusable TMs, running indoors from the start, the modern BW2 repel system, Move Reminders/Deleters in every Pokémon Center, no poison damage in the overworld, and eggs that hatch at Level 1.

➡️Day/Night System: A full day and night cycle is implemented, adding a visual filter to the game at different times of day.

➡️New Evolution Methods: Includes modern evolution methods such as gender-dependent, map-specific, and level-up while holding an item.

➡️Original Cries for All Fakemon: Every single one of the 386 Fakemon has its own unique, original cry.

➡️Flame Body & Magma Armor Halve Egg Hatching: The abilities have their modern effect of speeding up the egg hatching process.

➡️A Complete Game: The full FireRed story, including the Elite Four and post-game rematches, is fully playable from start to finish.
