Set in the Cyniir region following a mysterious mass extinction, you play as a top student from Paldea sent to assist Professor Ginkgo. As you help develop a research lab in Bismuth Village, you must investigate why Pokémon went extinct, manage the arrival of extradimensional species, and navigate the tensions between various factions and an ancient cult.

➡️Meaningful NPCs: every character in the game provides useful advice, items, quests, or recipes, moving away from "one-liner" NPCs.
➡️Interactive environment: interacting with everyday objects like books, sinks, and refrigerators provides tangible benefits and information.
➡️Choices matter: significant decisions impact faction standing, battle difficulty, and narrative outcomes, such as deciding the fate of the Poké Center system.
➡️Move and Ability customization: use 100 TMs, 100 TRs, 100 SMs (Signature Moves), and 100 ARs (Ability Records) to uniquely build your team.
➡️Reworked HM system: removes the need for HM slaves by using Move Devices or consumable Move Charges to bypass field obstacles.
➡️7 new types: introduces Sound, Cosmic, Food, Mystic, Slime, Chaos, and Dream types, with type changes for over 250 existing Pokémon.
➡️Pokémon rebalances: features stat boosts for dozens of weaker Pokémon and a complete overhaul of type effectiveness for better balance.
➡️Weather system: utilizes seven location-based biomes to ensure realistic and varied weather patterns during exploration and battle.
