PROGRESS: Demo Version 0.6.0 (21/06/2026) - This project is a playable demo featuring 8 Gyms, 8 Dojos, and over 260 quests, offering approximately 30-50 hours of gameplay content.

Set in the Cyniir region following a mysterious mass extinction, you play as a top student from Paldea sent to assist Professor Ginkgo. As you help develop a research lab in Bismuth Village, you must investigate why Pokémon went extinct, manage the arrival of extradimensional species, and navigate the tensions between various factions and an ancient cult.

🛑Features:

➡️950+ Pokémon available: All through Gen 8 (plus some Hisui, Gen 9, and Fakémon) are included, starting with a National Dex. Includes Mega Evolutions, alternate forms, and no missable Pokémon, with a plot-related reason for their presence (~818 implemented in v0.6.0).

➡️New region with 8 Gyms and 8 Dojos: Features challenging custom movesets and a tough Elite 4, plus rematches for them and most trainers (8 Gyms + 8 Dojos implemented + rematches for Gym 1-5 + Dojo 1-5 in v0.6.0).

➡️Reputation system and 6 factions: Your choices affect the plot and rewards as you work with or against Team Autonomy, Team Unity, Team Fortune, the Pokémon Rangers, the Fellowship of the Ascendants, and a secret faction.

➡️Recruit system: Build out a gargantuan hub and home base for shops and services inspired by Suikoden and Legion Saga. Upgrade and populate deeper basement floors of your Research Lab with 50+ recruits (42 available in v0.6.0).

➡️Crafting system: Over 100 unlockable recipes (86 available in v0.6.0) with many wild Pokémon holding and dropping crafting items.

➡️Player XP system: Gain character perks by learning and experiencing the world through 16 studies, including Hacking, Negotiation, Botany, Finances, and more.

➡️Built-in quest log: Keep track of hundreds of quests and side quests (263 currently completable). Many quests feature multiple solutions to encourage creative problem-solving.

➡️Combat updates: Features Z-Moves, new Mega Evolutions, Strong and Agile Styles, Hisui statuses, and over 70 new moves and Abilities.

➡️Pokégear apps: Discover useful applications to show type matchups, access Move Tutors, track wild encounters, connect with NPCs, and access a portable PC with customizable themes.

➡️Interactive NPCs and items: Every NPC offers advice, quests, items, recipes, or recruits instead of one-liners. Interacting with household items like books, TVs, and fridges also provides actual benefits.

➡️Impactful choices: Decisions affect the plot, your faction reputation, battle difficulty, rewards, and how the world changes.

➡️Customizable moves and abilities: 100 TMs, 100 TRs, 100 SMs (signature moves), and 100 ARs (ability records) let you customize your Pokémon further with revised eligibility.

➡️Reworked HM system: Obstacles require either a Move Device or consumable Move Charges, removing the need for HM slaves. New HMs include Harvest, Ice Smash, Reveal, and Warp.

➡️7 new types: Sound, Cosmic, Food, Mystic, Slime, Chaos, and Dream types are added, introducing new moves, evolutions, and typing changes for over 250 Pokémon.

➡️Pokémon changes and rebalances: Stat boosts for weaker Pokémon, expanded movesets, additional Hidden Abilities, and type rebalances (buffing Bug, Ice, Psychic; nerfing Water, Fairy, Steel).

➡️Weather system: Seven location-based biomes keep battles interesting by ensuring certain areas only experience specific types of weather.

➡️Social bonds: Connect with 25 NPCs to earn XP, catch rate, and shiny rate bonuses for each of the 25 types.

➡️No day/night system: Catch and evolve Pokémon whenever you want without real-time limitations.

➡️New Shiny mechanics: Find temporary or permanent Shiny-boosting items, complete quests to raise shiny rates, or find randomly colored Color Variant Pokémon.

➡️Abundant collectibles: Collect charms, Mega Stones, Z-Crystals, plushies, Diancie Jewels, birthsign beads, and Triple Triad cards for rewards.

➡️Quality of life upgrades: Features quicksave, multisave, autosave, visible egg groups, new evolution stones, name randomizer, IV/EV indicators, turbo speed, and in-battle stat change details.

➡️Special features: Includes Legendary breeding, new Natures, a BerryDex, Charm Case, Triple Triad card game, and other unique mechanics.
