PROGRESS: Completed v110 (01/09/2026) — Fully playable through the entire Hoenn gym campaign, Champion Wallace, the updated Battle Frontier, and two large post-game islands.

A modern enhancement and upgrade ROM hack of Pokémon Emerald built on the Pokeemerald-Expansion that introduces modern battle mechanics (Gen 7 roster, Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization), returning features like R/S Contest Halls, an immersive Region-Wide Dynamic Weather System, Day/Night encounters, extensive quality-of-life additions, and two large post-game islands.

➡️Contest Halls Return: Reintroduced from Ruby & Sapphire with quality-of-life improvements—every contest receptionist provides both a Contest Pass and a Pokéblock Case.

➡️Region-Wide Dynamic Weather System (RWDWS): Hoenn is divided into multiple climatic zones (East, West, North West, Cold Ocean, Warm Ocean, Tropical). Each zone selects a random weather pattern daily from its dynamic weather table for all maps within that sector.

➡️Expanded Pokémon Roster: Features Pokémon up to Generation 7 across wild encounters, trainer rosters, and the Battle Frontier.

➡️Modern Battle Mechanics: Includes the Physical/Special Split, Mega Evolutions, Z-Crystals & Z-Moves, Terastallization, and the Fairy type.

➡️Run Toggle & Indoor Running: Minimalist auto-run toggle activated smoothly by pressing the L button (plays a subtle sound effect without obstructive dialog boxes), along with full indoor running support.

➡️Following Pokémon & Overworld Enhancements: Pokémon follow you in the overworld, complete with object shadows and upgraded Heart & Soul (HnS) battle backgrounds.

➡️TM & HM Improvements: TMs are infinitely reusable, accompanied by 50 brand-new custom TMs. HM moves can be forgotten freely without needing a Move Deleter.

➡️Menu Move Relearner & Nicknaming: Access the Move Relearner and rename your Pokémon directly from the party summary screen.

➡️Day & Night System: Full real-time Day/Night lighting cycle featuring exclusive night-time wild encounters.

➡️Two Post-Game Islands: Extensive new post-game content featuring two large, fully explorable islands.

➡️Leveling Facilities & Gauntlets: Four dedicated trainer facilities/gauntlets designed to streamline training and leveling up your team.

➡️Type Adjustments: Grovyle, Sceptile, and Tropius are re-typed to Grass/Dragon; Gyarados is re-typed to Water/Dragon.
