PROGRESS: Project Version 3.0 (COMPLETE) - 16/03/2026 - This is a fully completed ROM hack from start to finish. The main story is playable through to the Elite Four, Champion, and the final battle against Steven Stone. There is no post-game content.

It is a brutal, Nuzlocke-focused ROM hack built on the foundation of Pokémon Emerald. Designed specifically for players who crave high-stakes challenge, it removes the ability to use healing items during battle, enforces "Set" battle mode, and introduces strict level caps. With a massive roster of over 400 species spanning Generations 1–9, the game features fully optimized competitive trainer teams and a unique "Impossible Fight" against Steven Stone to test your tactical limits. Whether you choose the Hard Cap mode or the "No Level Cap" edition, Emerald Rhombus provides a fair but devastating test of skill, optimized for Nuzlocke playthroughs with guaranteed legendary encounters and simplified evolution methods.

➡️Mega Evolution Implementation: Mega Evolve your Pokémon during fights after obtaining the Mega Ring and Mega Stones at the Lilycove Mart.

➡️Rebalanced Trainers: Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and regular trainers reviewed for optimal difficulty; Gym Leaders follow specific type themes.

➡️Accessible Competitive Items: Full Restore, Max Revive, Max Elixir, Master Balls, and Rare Candy are purchasable at Oldale Town; PP Max available at Fortree.

➡️Hard Level Caps: Level caps enforced for every Gym Leader, major fight, and the Elite Four/Champion; Pokémon will stop gaining EXP upon reaching the cap.

➡️Scattered Rare Items: TMs and items (Sharp Beak, Twistedspoon, Leftovers, Magnet, Dragon Fang, Spell Tag, Fairy Feather, Choice Scarf, Life Orb, Rocky Helmet, Heart Scales) are scattered throughout the map, often protected by difficult optional fights.

➡️Hisuian & Galarian Forms: Includes Hisuian and Galarian forms, plus fan-favorite additions like Annihilape.

➡️Elite Four Phoebe Type Change: Elite Four member Phoebe has been changed to specialize in Grass/Fairy types.

➡️Impossible Fight: Includes a high-difficulty battle against Steven Stone in Meteor Falls, with access to powerful Legendaries in the Desert Underpass afterward to assist the player.

➡️No Post-Game Content: The game concludes after the Elite Four, Champion, and the Steven Stone battle.
