PROGRESS: Project Version 1.0 (Completed) - 02/01/2026 - This is a complete game. The full story in the remixed Kanto region, including the Pokémon League and post-game, is finished and playable from start to finish.
It is a complete, silly, and self-aware ROM hack that remixes the classic FireRed adventure. This game takes the Kanto you know and flips it on its head with changed map layouts, new wild encounters, altered gym leader teams, and completely new comedic dialogue. Powered by the modern CFRU/DPE engine, it includes up-to-date battle mechanics, while also adding its own unique twists like new starter Pokémon and rebalanced stats. For ultimate replayability, an in-game randomizer NPC is available right from the start, making every playthrough a fresh and unpredictable joke-filled journey.

➡️A Remixed Kanto Region: The layouts of familiar maps have been changed and altered to provide a fresh and different experience.
➡️Modern Battle Engine (CFRU/DPE): Built on the Complete FireRed Upgrade, adding modern features like the Physical/Special split, updated moves, items, and abilities.
➡️Built-In Randomizer: An NPC is available in the starting town who can completely randomize your playthrough from within the game for ultimate replayability.
➡️New Wild Encounters: The wild Pokémon found on every route have been completely changed.
➡️Altered Trainer & Gym Battles: Gym Leaders have new teams, and brand new trainer battles have been added throughout the region.
➡️Comedic & New Dialogue: The script has been rewritten with new, original, and silly dialogue from NPCs to fit the game's joke/meme theme.
➡️New Starter Pokémon: The traditional Kanto starters have been replaced with a new set of choices.
➡️Rebalanced Pokémon Stats: Some Pokémon have had their base stats altered for a different gameplay experience.
➡️A Complete Game: The full FireRed story is playable from start to finish in this new, remixed style.
➡️New Daycare Location: A new and improved daycare has been added to Route 5 for convenience.
➡️New Title Screen: Features a new, custom title screen to match the game's unique theme.
