PROGRESS: Project Version 1.0.0 (21/04/2026) - The game is considered complete.

It is a Pokémon Essentials competition game where it's you vs the best of the best, in a tournament for the ages! Go through nine large and diverse areas! Collect Pokémon! Battle other Gauntlet Runners! And challenge the Warden of the stage to advance to the next Trial. Each of the nine Trials in the Gauntlet will have a different overarching theme, and have thematic bosses that use the culminations of that area's 'mons.

🛑Features:

➡️Complete Generation 1-6 Roster: We have all Pokémon from the first 6 generations implemented, as well as their newer babies and evolved forms (totalling a whopping 736 Pokémon), and MEGA EVOLUTIONS (even those from Legends ZA).

➡️Gen-5 Style Sprites: We are using Gen-5 style animated sprites in-battle, too!

➡️Following Pokémon: There are HGSS overworld following Pokémon.

➡️Battle Style Choice: AND a single/double battle switch where you can decide how you play through the game.

➡️Tournament Finale: Reaching the end of the 9th stage results in a tournament of the top 16 contestants.

➡️Champion Battle: Then, the winner of the tournament fights the mysterious champion of the games before being crowned the victor.

➡️Strategic Progression: The goal is for the game to be a fun and rewarding experience for new and veteran players, where you advance from a regular player running through with no items, 4 high power attacking moves, random nature, IVs and EVs, to a competitive mindset where you start to formulate genuine strategies in order to win.

➡️Customizable Pokémon: You can completely customize your Pokémon, so that way you always have the best sets for your battles!

➡️Rhydon Statues: Instantly level up your Pokémon to your level cap by interacting with the Rhydon Statues around the Gauntlet. (Usually by the doors to a Warden Chamber)

➡️Quality of Life Items: Out of Battle Items to SKIP MANDATORY TMs!

➡️Utility NPCs: Speak with NPCs to set Happiness, organize your boxes, and get exclusive items!

➡️Portable Healing: Heal anywhere with the Sleeping Bag!

➡️Battle Interface: See types in battle with the display beside their names!

➡️Move Matchups: Check type matchups with the symbols beside each of your moves!

➡️Moderate to High Difficulty: The difficulty of the hack will be moderate to high, but very possible with the tools before you.

➡️Shiny Customization: And you can even spray paint your Pokémon to make them shiny!
