PROGRESS: Project Version 2.0 (19/04/2026) - This major update introduces the Berry-based Smoothie system, the 16-trainer Dark Tournament, brand new exploration areas, and significant gameplay rebalancing.

It follows a Berry farmer, Pulp, in a subset of an unnamed region based on China. Pulp is tired of exhausting rural life and wants to bring his Berry growing business to the bustling Honzhu City. With his truck broken down, he must traverse the wilds and the mysterious Color Ruins to fund his dream. Resources we take for granted like Poké Balls and Potions are extremely coveted, making his journey a tough and gruelling one.

➡️Unique Protagonist and Story: Play as Pulp, a rural Berry farmer on a quest to fund his business dreams after his delivery truck breaks down.

➡️Brand New Region: Explore a subset of an unnamed region based on China, featuring distinct locations like Cho Village, the Color Ruins, and Dark City.

➡️Resource Scarcity: Experience a tougher, gruelling journey where standard items like Poké Balls and Potions are extremely coveted and hard to find.

➡️Smoothie System: Replaces Pokéblocks—blend 3 Berries to create typed Smoothies that restore HP, boost stats, or grant a type-based shield in battle.

➡️Smoothie Trading: Exchange your crafted Smoothies with special trader NPCs to obtain Fire, Water, Leaf, Sun, and Dusk Stones.

➡️Berry-Themed Combat: Encounter many Pokémon with Berry-themed abilities and held Berries specifically added to complement the Smoothie system.

➡️The Dark Tournament: Compete in a 16-trainer 3v3 bracket in Dark City required to progress the storyline.

➡️Enhanced Boss Battles: Face off against Boss Trainers who receive automatic stat boosts in battle for an extra challenge.

➡️New & Expanded Maps: Travel through new areas like Xilong Walk and Wangyong Marsh, alongside expanded layouts for Tiyu Forest, Kimyang Road, and Zhaoun Path.

➡️Audio & Visual Polish: Enjoy HGSS footstep sound effects, new menu SFX, custom music tracks, a custom backsprite for Pulp, and party Pokémon icons on the continue screens.
