PROGRESS: Project Version v1.0 (08/04/2026) - This is a complete release of the project, functioning as an "upper version" of the original Quartz. It utilizes assets from the former Quartz DX project to fix bugs and add new content to the base game.

It is a project that revamps the sprite art and gameplay of BARO’s romhack classic: Pokémon Quartz. It is a “best as could be done” offshoot of the former Quartz DX project: using its assets, adding some new content, and fixing many bugs from the original game. Think of it like an “upper version” of the original Pokémon Quartz.

🛑Features:

➡️New Sprites: New sprites for all 386 of Quartz’s fakemon and most of its Trainers

➡️Fakemon Rebalancing: Rebalancing of all of the fakemon stats and movesets

➡️National Dex-izing: Rebalancing and national dex-izing of the game’s trainers and encounter tables to make all 386 fakemon available

➡️Overworld Tilesets: Freshened up overworld tilesets from Pokemon Emerald

➡️Bonus Events: A few bonus events & new content as well.

➡️Original Script: The original game’s script; typos and spanglish in all, has been retained.
