PROGRESS: Project Version Beta - 01/03/2026 - only the start to the 1st dungeon. This is the initial public beta release of an ambitious, dual-campaign reimagining of Ancient Hoenn.

It is an ambitious FireRed-based ROM hack set in the Industrial Revolution era of Hoenn. Taking place 10 years after the events of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the story follows the ancestors of Brendan and Steven Stone as they navigate a world where Pokémon are still feral and unpredictable. The game’s most revolutionary feature is a dual-campaign system: play as either Nolan, a 26-year-old Pokémon Ranger leader, or Orerick, a 13-year-old prodigy. Each path offers a unique story perspective, distinct gameplay mechanics, and varying difficulty. With Ancient Hoenn regional forms, Mega Evolutions from Legends: Z-A, and a custom narrative based on the creator's novel, this is a truly generational leap for GBA hacking.

➡️Gen 8 Battle Mechanics: Built on a modern engine featuring Gen 8 battle mechanics (excluding Dynamax) for a strategic and up-to-date combat experience.

➡️Curated Gen 1-9 Pokédex: A massive roster spanning all nine generations, with a specific focus on making Generation 3 Pokémon more versatile and competitive.

➡️Modern Quality of Life (QoL): Includes essential modern features such as Exp. All, Nature Mints, and a modernized Repel system.

➡️Legends: Z-A Mega Evolutions (Planned): The game is set to include all Mega Evolutions, with specific plans to implement the brand-new Megas introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

➡️Massive Post-Game (Planned): A huge post-game experience is currently in development to extend the adventure far beyond the main story.

➡️Gen 9 Abilities (Planned): The development team is currently looking into the possibility of implementing Generation 9 abilities in future updates.

➡️HM Replacement Mounts (Planned): New travel mechanics are planned to replace traditional HMs, allowing Rangers to navigate the feral wilds of ancient Hoenn.

➡️Dynamic NPC Interactions: Major characters throughout the region will treat you differently and offer unique dialogue based on which protagonist you chose to play as.
